The Jorge Montt Glacier is a tidewater glacier located in Chile near the mouth of the Pascua River. This timelapse between February 2010 and January 2011 from the Centro de Estudios Científicos depicts the retreat of the glacier due to climate change. Over the course of one year the glacier calving front retreated an estimated 1km.
